Product Inspection

Pre-Production Inspection(PPI)

“Identify quality risks before manufacturing commences”

  • Pre-Production Inspection(PPI) is the next step after the identification and the evaluation of your vendor/factory. It allows you to identify quality risks before manufacturing commences and is an integral part of your risk assessment and quality assurance management. A pre-production inspection verifies your supplier is able to start the production on schedule and all your products specifications and quality requirements are understood.

During Production Inspection(DPI)

“Increase control of risks across your supply chain”.

  • During Production Inspection(DPI) usually occurs when between 10 to 60% of your product is manufactured and packing for export has begun. It forms part of your overall quality assurance program and provides the opportunity for implementation of the necessary corrective actions at an early stage, FQA inspectors conduct a physical inspection of goods on a randomly selected sample of manufactured goods using the statistical sampling procedure ISO 2859-1 (ANSI/ASQ Z1.4).
  • Each inspection is unique because FQA comprehensive standard checklists are customized to focus on what is important for you and your individual product specifications. The during production inspection checklists provide an extensive classification of defects and on-site tests based on international standards (EU, USA, AU and more)

Pre-Shipment Inspection(PSI)

“Avoid loss of business by identifying problems before shipment”.

  • Pre-shipment inspection(PSI) is an essential element of supply chain management. PSI is also referred to as a Final Random Inspection (FRI). This inspection takes place at the end of the production process when 80% to 100% of the goods are manufactured and packed for export.
  • FQA inspectors visit your vendor’s site to conduct a physical inspection of goods on a randomly selected sample of manufactured products using the statistical sampling procedure ISO2589-1(ANSI/ASQ Z1.4
  • We customize each inspection to focus on what is important for you by combining our standard inspection checklists with your unique product requirements and Acceptable Quality Limits. FQA Pre-Shipment Inspection checklists provide an extensive classification of defects and on-site tests based on international standards (EU, USA, AU and more).

Container Loading Supervision(CLS)

"Ensure safe transportation and delivery in a satisfactory condition"

  • Container Loading Supervision(CLS) provides reassurance that your finished goods are handled correctly when loaded into containers to ensure safe transportation and delivery to their final destination in a satisfactory condition. Sometimes referred to as Container Loading Inspection, this service usually takes place at the factory or your forwarder's premises and occurs after a pre-shipment inspection (PSI).
  • FQA Inspectors examine a range of important criteria to ensure accurate quantities of your products are loaded and handled correctly to protect your goods during shipment. We also verify the container is properly sealed and the documentation for customs inspection is available. Each CLS is unique, combining FQA container loading supervision checklists with your unique product specifications and other key criteria.
